In the financial year of 2001, Surat Thani Rajabhat University had been set a budget of 61.156.082 baht from the government for constructing the buiding of the language and computer centre. Additionally, the university also contributed a budget of 5.843.918 baht. The total budget of the construction was 67.000.000 baht.
Surat Thani Rajabhat Universityhad recieved a RoyalGrace fromHis Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn, and had given the Name of thebuilding “Dipangkorn Rasmijoti” addressed on August 7th, 2006 in order to celebratethefirstyear Royal birthday anniversary ofHis Royal Highness Prince Dipangkorn Rasmijoti.
OnOctober 28th, 2007,His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha VajiralongkornandHer Royal Hingness Princess Srirasm, Royal Consort to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn,proceeded toopen the building,Dipangkorn Rasmijotiat Surat Thani Rajabhat University. Moreover,His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha VajiralongkornandHer Royal Highness Princess Srirasm, Royal Consort to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkornhad seen the exhibition ofthe royal history ofHis Royal Highness Prince Dipangkorn Rasmijoti.
